Is This ZOO Really Our Home?

One day recently, several of the boy's friends who live close 'showed' up at our house. I must admit I was surprised at so many showing up on the same day but loved it! That is one thing that never happened to us while living in the country! At one point, Caden just looked around and said, "Mom, is this zoo really our home?" Kids where playing basketball, riding bikes and playing in the backyard. They were all really behaving well and playing great together! I love when friends just drop by, unexpectedly...just something you learn to appreciate after being in the country where 'dropping by' wasn't to convenient!

The younger kids enjoyed bike riding while the older kids went for basketball and baseball.

Can Anyone Help Hudson?

Oh our youngest....continues to amaze us, puzzle us, send our heads spinning!
Of coarse, I say all that with lots of love! He definitely keeps us laughing and on our toes! On the way home from church, he is in his car seat just chatting away about who knows what. When we hear Caden say, "Hudson, did you just say you wanted a platypus?" Hudson replies with a big "YEP". "You know they don't do much. It can live in our backyard and swim in Grizzly's swimming pool. It could come in our house. It only makes a little noise." Ryan and I began laughing and asking him where he learned so much about a platypus. "I just know it" was his response. Ryan told him if he could find a platypus, he could have one...uh oh, for those of you who know Hudson...probably not the best thing to tell this determined child!
Our new family pet?

Since I'm posting about Hudson, I have one more story. Friday at preschool his class got to play a game of baseball. As I was walking down the hall towards his class, two teachers, not Hudson's, approached me telling me about his participation in the baseball game. From the information I received from them, I made the following list of things you could have heard our child saying during this game.
"You don't run with the bat. Put it down!"
"No, first base is that way. You're going to third."
"I am going to hit this ball out of the park."
"I throw fireball's when I pitch."
"Don't walk the bases...RUN."
Yes, we are speechless and concerned! :)

It's About That Time of the Year...

for BASEBALL! You know that means craziness for the Reagan family! But it is one of our favorite times of the year! We visited A&M over Spring Break and watched a couple of games. On Sunday, the boys ran the bases at Olsen Field and then we headed to Houston to see Ryan's sister. Here are some pics from the baseball game. Unfortunatley, by the time we got to Houston I couldn't find my camera (another reason I haven't been posting!)! However, over this past weekend I found my camera in the boys bag full of their PSP's, and other traveling gear! Sorry, Leeshie, I didn't get any photos with you!

Below I have a clip of the boys 'sawing off varsity's horns'. They weren't to sure about what was happening, as you can tell from their faces...but they'll learn!! (we hope :)
